Coach Mike Liebreich grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He moved to St. Louis where he played college lacrosse at local Division III, Fontbonne University. During his tenure at Fontbonne, Mike was named All Conference three times and set multiple school records for caused turnovers and ground balls.
Coach Liebreich began coaching in 2010 with Parkway South High School as a Defensive Coordinator prior to joining St. John Vianney High School in the same role in 2014. In 2015, Coach Liebreich was hired as the Head Coach at St. John Vianney. During his time at Vianney, the Varsity program improved from 3-16 in his first year to 14-4 in his final season securing the 4 seed in the State Playoffs. He led Vianney to its first 3 winning seasons in over 20 years and won MSLA Coach of the Year in 2019. Coach Liebreich joined CBC in the Fall of 2020 and led the Cadets to a 13-3 season in 2021 where they won the MCC Championship for the first time since 2007 and went to the Final Four for the first time since 2013, finishing in 3rd place in the state. Coach Liebreich has coached 2 All Americans, 5 All State Players, and has had over 20 players play at the collegiate level.
